Christmas Day 2023- every year we give out ‘After dinner presents’ which are typically joke presents relevant to each person. Nanny’s present this year was an ear trumpet which she found highly amusing!

I made Nanny a personalised tree decoration one year, it always managed to make her laugh and survived being on the tree for the whole Christmas season.

91 years blessed and loved.

Nanny’s first ever trip to the zoo at 90 years old. Nanny recalled the train ride reminded her of being an evacuee.

Nanny’s first ever trip to the zoo at 90 years old. Nanny pretended that she could see most of the animals despite not wearing her glasses. She then later on asked if we had seen certain animals that she had pretended to have seen!

Alex always requested a Victoria sponge made for his birthday, Nanny and I worked together in 2019 to create a masterpiece as Nanny had forgotten the recipe.
